Gold leaf table | 50th Anniversary | Charles and Ray Eames

Pure gold leaf, applied by hand and sealed with lacquer, covers a solid brass top, the table itself fashioned from maple with solid maple legs and powder-coated braces. Retains manufacturers tag identifying this examples as number 11 of 500 produced. An absolute super rare piece and a must’ve for every serious Eames fanatic!

The famous couple Charles and Ray Eames designed this table for the living room in their house build in 1949. Herman Miller reproduced the table, with the families permission in 1999 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Eames House in Pacific Palisades, California. 

Ray and Charles Eames were an American married couple. But above all industrial designers who made significant and historical architecture and furniture through the work of the Eames Office.
