THE MODERN IS MOVING FORWARD

We have some big news that we want to share with you.

Over the last couple of months we’ve seen The Modern go through a transformation. Interior projects and services such as furniture sourching, wall finish, color advice and Rustico (bespoke curtains and blinds) have been growing in size and number. We have come to realise that it’s time to reflect and strategise on our approach for the future.

The Modern has always been a business built on a passion for interior design. We have followed our ambitions and it has taken us to many different places over the past 15 years.

Now is the time to fully focus on interior projects, to go out and source unique (vintage) items as we used to, and to simply follow our dreams. This means The Modern shop at Staringplein 13 will close in September.

This is a step to be celebrated. We want to close this chapter with a bang! From JUNE 30TH everything in the shop will be on sale up to 70% off. We welcome you all to come and shop and chat with us! We’d love to see you over the coming weeks, share our future plans and celebrate.

What’s next?

From September onwards you can get in touch with us for all your interior questions, smaller or bigger projects. And our online shop will still be up and running.
